$50 Shogun Sport frame. It looks familiar. Was this listed up a little bit back?

And anyone in Newy who can pick up for me? $75 Gios! 20th viewer, so I do hope I get it.

What's the issue with him Munga? I was watching the Avanti he has for auction?

my dealings with him were less than favourable. didn't return calls/emails/texts, then threatened legal action for harassment. i was asking for a pickup time on behalf of an interstate buyer. that's it. jerk.
presumably wouldn't sell because winning bid was low.

Something NQR going on there.

The guy knows some jargon and has a work stand. So he's not clueless.

And yet, he's selling a classic frame at a price that could only be explained by cluelessness.

What's with that?

I was going to leave this here and moan about how it must be Brisbane's week for nice bicycles, but as much as I wanted to let the locals have a chance I knew I couldn't let it go...
Bitter sweet however as I have breached my bicycle limit, (and I can predict which one won't be getting ridden once it arrives.)

Damn near identical frame to mine. Might be a size smaller than my 60cm though. Would be curious if anyone on here did nab it. PM me to swap some frame details if you like. Mine is running a mixture of Dura-Ace generations, with Chorus brakes as my prime Audax bike at the moment. Done a coupla 400km rides on it this year. Age is no barrier ;)

Oh man, somebody took a big pile of uglysticks and welded them together!

I'm not surprised there are few of them around. It would be a talking piece if nothing else...

This is what happens when a 9th grader is let loose with a welder and the scraps bin in the high school metal shop.

Generally I'm into an oddball, I kinda like it, but it kinda looks like something you'd see at K-Mart....not sure. o_0

From this angle it looks pretty damn big. I've got my money on it being 60cm.

I like the Miyata.

Here's bit of info on the Kiwi Pearson MTB. Seems they made it to England.

Whoa jeez. I still can't make myself like it. Early 2000s K-Mart crap with a slightly nicer paint job...

I believe I know who has already beaten us to this, and I sincerely hope that it falls into his hands ;)

That's going to need some major refurbishment. It looks like it's got a few dings in it.

I wonder if the guy would be willing to ship it?

I didn't spot dings, but zooming in on the BB in the photo of the drive side crank is enough to make my stomach turn. Full re chrome, re respray, and you might be lucky to save the stem and cranks from the components on it currently. :?

Still, no question whether it's worth it!

This looks like a very good buy for somebody in Adelaide into pre-WWII bikes http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/VINTAGE-BICY ... 2a328b97ac

If it was in Tassie, I'd already own it
