Looks they they dragged it from the lake in the background as it is low from no rain, left it to dry in a tree, took iPhone piccys and sit back to watch the bidding!
Good luck I say :)

That's a special kind of stupid. Be interesting to see how long it is until one or more pedals fall off :)

Bahaha! I'd love to see the look on his face when he flips the back wheel over from fixie to coast... he'll be pedalling backwards.

And I really dont want it for that $$$.
My mate had a frame from ldrcycle. Few rust spots, going to be a fixie. He's doing the right thing, clear coat, warts and all...

Almost worth it for the saddle alone, sure the leather doesn't look great but the frame should clean up nicely. In the first pic the forks look a bit suspect though.

Nice, but, like you, too far away and not enough room.
I don't care if it's a $20 Huffy or a $20k Colnago, as long as you're riding, and you're happy.

Agreed. But the price is a bit steep. I guess he's got to get a little bit of money back.

hahaha just bought this today! For that price I couldn't say no. It apparently has suntour gears and diacompe brakes- google leads me to believe these are alright. Should be interesting once I get my hands on it.

Anyone have any idea what these hubs are? They are SHimano high flange hubs, but its got a UG freehub, which puts me off. It came off a Cecil Walker from prob the 1980s.

There's a few interesting bikes online at the moment.

Seriously Nice Gemini World Randonneur, Primed for a 650b conversion

Clamont Fifteen Hundred, apparently a re stickered Miyata 1000.

Univega 26" BMX. That things kinda cool.

Gazelle Track frame

Raseza Spanish Road Bike. Tempting, a good candidate for a modern road group set.

So what is the Ser No and does it conform with Gazelle Format would want additional measurements, wheel base, centre of crank to centre of rear axle etc. Would also want to put some 700c rims on it and see what you get ie do you need to deflate the tyre to get the rear wheel in and out of the frame...in photo 1 the top tube looks curved in vicinity of the flash reflection could just be the angle/parallax error. Take a straight edge with you.

Almost looks like dura ace but they don't match the set that I have. The flange cutouts are bit of a different shape.

Look pretty close to early XT or maybe HC-110 but they are both said to be freewheel rather than uniglide

I believe this is on fixed also. The seat stays match mine how they rap over the lug.

Those hubs look identical to a set I have here from a 1980ish 10 speed racer with the early Shimano 600 Arabesque groupset.
