Almost looks like dura ace but they don't match the set that I have. The flange cutouts are bit of a different shape.

Look pretty close to early XT or maybe HC-110 but they are both said to be freewheel rather than uniglide

Gazelle Track frame

So what is the Ser No and does it conform with Gazelle Format would want additional measurements, wheel base, centre of crank to centre of rear axle etc. Would also want to put some 700c rims on it and see what you get ie do you need to deflate the tyre to get the rear wheel in and out of the frame...in photo 1 the top tube looks curved in vicinity of the flash reflection could just be the angle/parallax error. Take a straight edge with you.

I believe this is on fixed also. The seat stays match mine how they rap over the lug.

Those hubs look identical to a set I have here from a 1980ish 10 speed racer with the early Shimano 600 Arabesque groupset.

Is your hub an UG though? I cant seem to find a model with UG. Anyway, $50 is a pretty good price for the wheelset right?

And a $80 Royal Star. Dont know what happened to the RD, but I really do wonder, does it work? Its got fluted cranks, but I cant make out the groupset.

If I'm looking at the same wheels it looks like a screw on cluster not a freehub and tubular tyres. Very standard until mid eighties.

I make no claims to expertise but pic 7 from the linked gumtree ad looks like a uniglide hub to me. Yes a screw on cluster would be very standard , hence Quang's uncertainty

Oops.. I didn't see all the pics. Yes Uniglide. Great cogs that you could flip over when the 15t or 16t wore out and you wanted a new chain. Usually easy to reaxle and add a 10speed freehub but not ceratin on the really old ones. Also Jeff at Loose screws is retiring so giving good discounts on old uniglide cassettes www.loosescrews.com

I cut and pasted the numbers into the tree.

Just as a BTW CLW a 56cm label doesn't mean much, because everybody measures bikes differently.

Need to know a bit more about your Uni and whether you need to negotiate hills etc.

Felt Brougham single speed. Good if the one gear is the right gear for you. Both options sound like big gears to me so you might need to experiment with cogs/rings a bit.
Classic old Cilo race bike Great old bike! Definitely not for you with tubular tyres.
Giant Cross City This would be my pick.
Indi 500 Road Bike 70's road bike with suicide levers, probably steel rims. It's cheap, it has a rack.

Of those choices the Giant is the most suitable for you, current equipment, good brakes.

Since this is the Retro Forum someone ought to get onto that Cilo.

Cheers,

Cameron

I guess they are always popping up? I have about half a dozen old freehubs from changing them over on things I've bought. Just BTW one day I got the angle grinder out and flattened one slot so I could put hyperglide sprockets on to an old freehub.Worked fine. I think I still might be using that on one of my bikes.
