Bit tall for a medium, Decarlo, has mounts for fenders and rack on rear - make a good townie?
Skidstar GT with a steep front angle.
Kuwahara folder.
Purple Pug
Great fade paint job

It'd be perfect if it wasn't for the 1970s Ford "Super Roo" references...familyguy wrote:http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/Muscle-Bike- ... 1327028252
How does the brake lever on the top tube work, do you think? An inline addition to the bar levers?
Hit me up via the BNA dm; I'll get an alert. If y'know, you know.

Has a normal dropout and provision for both rack and fender mounts, unlike these track end ones.
Totally out of touch with what these are worth, and the differences between the variants. What would the verdict be on the asking prices?
Also, nice looking Hoffy Got a bit each way, it's on Ebay as well.

They're not track ends. They're standard rear-facing ends which were commonplace at the time... and they were made by pressing the ends of the chainstays flat. BSOs aren't even built that poorly these days.

well call them "roadster" ends, track ends for track bikes are high quality, normally cut from plate. Noting wrong with squashed pipe, when done nicely it lasts forever but its not 'quality' (not since the early 1900's)geoff_tewierik wrote:The pressed metal chainstays that make up standard rear facing ends will always be track ends in my mind, compared to dropouts for bikes with derailleurs.
The Speedwell trackracergoulburntosydneyrare etc is back on at 29.95 start big drop from $4000 yes Im bidding on it (its at 150 now) did the Major taylor (not) bike go the same way?

Fortunately it's not connected to anything. I reckon the only way to use a lever like that for a brake would be for something like an Arai drum brake, as used on tandems for a drag brake. Somehow I can't see a bike like this ever needing a drag brake.HappyHumber wrote:It'd be perfect if it wasn't for the 1970s Ford "Super Roo" references...familyguy wrote:http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/Muscle-Bike- ... 1327028252
