Which headstem??!!!

Hey Guys, I've got an old italian Basso road bike in reynolds 531, and i want a good stiff headstem to suit it. The trickey bit is its got a threaded headset so i need and older one, what would be the best?

Cinelli 1A - good performing, classic looking, most likely period-correct for that bike, readily available at reasonable price, Italian. 'Nuff said.

Appretiate the offer of the Cinelli stem, but i've got a few already and i havn't decided on a length yet.

Noticed a few on ebay last night including an early Ti version from ITM. It looks the muts

If you're a retro weight weenie (like me)...

Cinelli Grammo - Titanium goodness, 200 grams, roughly $120AU

or.....

Look Titianium Stem - 148 grams, $250AU - sold recently on ebay US - not sure how often they come up!

(For reference, My Apollo IV Techtronic stem is a sniff over 300 grams)

beautiful, but not stiff. Mine is 120mm for 192g.

Go the Cinelli 1A or similar. Perhaps ITM Goccia.

i have a 120mm / 26.0 mavic stem if interested, il be advertising it shortly if your not.
