Hows it going?

Owned a '89 repco mountain bike ears ago but forgot the name.

Trying to remember what it was

It was aqua and black. 12 speed. Indexed gears.

Any chance of a catalogue scan out there?

Repco Rossini? The guy says Tange frame and Shimano bits. Some lame attempt to dress up a Japanese bike with an Italian sounding name?

Hey it's a Repco and it's steel :D . I did 30k on my Preset yesterday morning, hooks along pretty well.
Munga, you should definitely get that Repco while you can, there was one on ebay that sold for $160odd with one of the brakes taken off! Nice little earner there :) .

$98 + how much in after market parts?
munga wrote:there was a preset at my big w for $40.01 last week. almost bought it
Plenty on gumtree, most people asking full $98 retail even though they where going for around $70 on special. Caveat emptor.

Hi All,

New around here, obtained a Superlite today with from what I can tell every single original part on it, including the chain. Long time mountain biker, have always avoided the road, but time and family constraints mean getting a ride in has to be on the commute. One spin around the block generated a fairly large smile. I think I'm going to like this bike. Would love to post images but it's all to hard right now

cheers, Heff.

Nishiki Olympic 12, in SA, small frame. Still has the drillium rings, unsure about the forks, should be red with N panto. Big ugly stem also looks like a replacement.

that's what she said..

you think sellers going to get $420 for it though?

Sadly, those usually requiring a 60cm+ frame can't always be choosy about what you buy and at what price. You can't expect bargains galore.

That said, it'd be a good buy at $300, not $420, but someone may need it that badly. Pickup only will limit the sellers market.

Looks identical to mine when i bought it almost 25 years ago.
Mine was exactly same colour and frame size, same Suntour Sprint bits.
But mine came with Araya tubulars and was 6-speed Suntour screw-on cluster.
So the one above might be a bit more recent.

Yes Rob, mine is the same unicrown fork, still going strong after 25 yrs but has been repainted.
Mine has not been on the road much recently, needs a new headset.
The last big ride it did was the Noosa Eroica (July), all 109 km of it, including unsealed bits.
Make an offer, its only money !
but you had best be sure that she is the right size frame, it is a big one, only suitable for over 6 footers. :|

If those Victory Tri-A's are anything like the Eurosport Tri-A's it'll be a blast to ride. Loving mine so far.

same frame, but your Eurosport has a better fork. Doesn't get much better than a Euro Tri-A.
well, if you don't count the Vertex 8)

Here is Nickobec's Victory Tri-A purchased used but it was almost in showroom condition, original everything, as seen here:

Extremely jealous of this bike, and don;t even ask what he paid for it, bargain would be an understatement.

Tall pink & grey Olympic 12 in Sydney if anyone is keen. I'd lowball him and see if you can snag it for closer to half asking price, needs work:
