Herewith pics of before and after of my ex-brother-in-law's "Robinson's Sports" bike. Robinson's were a department store in Singapore, the bike was bought in 1969.
He asked me to "fix it up" so he could ride it. Apart from renewing cables and such I reluctantly agreed to repaint it, but took extensive pics of the original decals in the event someone one day wanted to properly restore it.
It's now quietly rusting again having been ridden once when he took it home.....
I can't post pics yet - go to photobucket and search "chuck_chunder", go to the album and then have a look in the "Robinson" album
cheers
glen
