hi there,
I was just looking at a pair of pedals i picked up on ebay a while back and noticed that the straps (binda's)actually have bianchi stamped in them, anyone know if this was common?

I got pretty lucky with these I think, the anodised blue toe clips are cinelli and are in good shape and the pedals themselves are mks quartz and they spin like nothing I have seen, sensational

Yeah, pretty much top of the line in their day. Wonder if they'll clean up nicely.

It would be good if you could find NOS Alfredo Binda straps, I used to use nothing else, by choice. Matter of fact I've still got 2 or 3 around, they'd be 27 or 28 years old now, and they're still good for saddlebag bindings etc. Make sure you use good quality leather treatment on them - they'll stretch a bit but retain their integrity.

errr, original question re Bianchi... uncommon I'd have thought. I've never seen a pair so marked.

I think the toe straps were made by a company called Bianchi Dino for Cinelli. Cinelli Straps were labelled Alfredo Binda.

Bianchi make gun holsters - I wonder if it is the same Bianchi that made the toe straps?

I have a couple of pairs of toe straps that were made by Bianchi Dino.
