Having my Clamont stolen the day after christmas, and then recovered 6 days later on return from holidays, has prompted me to take some pics and post.
Have built it up over the past year, and although its a bit of this and that, its a dream to ride.
My new project is the Vitus. Picked it up of ebay after some spirited bidding. Got it up a running for a ride before i stipped it and was pleasantly surprised how well it rode.
Cheers

Duly noted Koen. He didn't complain but than again it had been a long time since he had a bike and I just overlooked it. Will make sure to set it up correctly when I see him.koen wrote:Looks nice but I wouldn;t like to ride it far. You'd be slipping off that seat and fighting yourself all day.

We both decided to go for a clean but safe look, hence the coaster brake + the front brake as an emergency brake. I positioned it in such a way that he can use the front brake with his right hand while still have enough space to have both hands on top of the handlebar.slidetaker wrote:Interesting brake lever mounting.

Does it allow you to release by sliding your heal in? (pulling heal towards the frame of the bike) or you have to slide out? I can't explain myself properly.Avvocato wrote:They are proprietary, so it depends on how many pedal setups/shoes you have. I run Shimano on most of my bikes (which is why I put Duracci on the Cinelli) but kept the Pinarello all-Campy for aethestics

Excuse the renovation detritus, it seems to occupy most of my spare time I used to have for bike stuff.

but really, that's rubbish. We get none of it because the choices are illusory.
