How do you decide which one to ride Wingnut?
Don't ride them anymore...I train/race on my Ti bikes now...too many bikes.

I find that paint scheme always captures my attention. Matching rim decals too. It looks to be in great condition Munga. Didn't Peugeot have a similar paint scheme on one of their model's in the 90's?

Finally got my 1978 Viscount Sebring finished more than a year after I started on it. My brother used it for the Noosa Strade Bianche, 125kms with no problems
. The first set of wheels I've actually built up from scratch too. Still has the Strade dust on it in this pic
.

i just need some toe straps and to finish the ambrosio wheels and it'll be ready to go.

Howl me down if this isn't retro enough.
Ken and Paul Ev*ns-built Evolution frame, Gilco-style tubes, Columbus drop outs. Running Chorus 9 speed. 1990s.
The asterisk is to stop it hyperlinking out to a well known bike sales website.

Looks rad benny. Frame mounted pump = extra retro cred.

Thanks lads. The pump, I went into Velo at Wilston, bought a couple of things, asked if they sold frame pumps. The bloke said wait a minute, went into the back room, and came up with this Zefal XP still mounted on the card which they'd had lying around for years. Score!

I found this as NOS from Brick Lane Bikes. It's actually a Soft Paint frame, however, I could not live with the sticky/tacky nature of the soft paint finish so it has been to the auto sprayer for 3 coats of clear 2 pack and a bake.
This was the paper tag attached to the frame - it's a size 54 seat post with a 55 TT. I've also seen it refered to as 'Casino Yellow' online somewhere however, that may be a Team Colour Scheme

I'm spoilt for black colour on bikes with a Bottecchia SP9 and a Colnago C50 so this build will be a light shades affair with heaps of polished alloy and chrome........
Will start another thread in Retro with the build FWIW. There
may be some controversial build decisions made........ but this one should yield both form and function........ I want this ride to be the plushest yet.........
Stem is already sorted, a Kalloy 110mm job via BNA marketplace purchase. Stripped off the laquer, sanded it down hard and re-polished.
Purchased condition
3.5 hours of work later
