Well some people really like those rainbow colours, but probably not mixed like that - not after a hard night anyway.Wazza wrote:Ron,
How do you think that this one would go with the rasta Superlite?
But I don't mind it at all.

I scored this black one from one of those UK sellers so I look the part on my Olympia and the purple one from a US seller. I had to get the zipper replaced on the black on though.
Mid 90's I believe.

Some really great stuff there. A good example of how graphic design has changed over the years, as well as the rise in more 'minor' sponsorship and having to squeeze more names onto a jersey.

Dave Moulton has blogged a thumbs up on these. Not bad. I have a fantasy about lobbing up behind the Turramurra Cycles peleton with a few guys in these, astride a collection of horizontal toptube steelies. Noses would go in the air, no doubt.
Well, no, it's not a pushbike, otherwise I'd be pushing it...

My wife bought herself one from Prendas. But back in the early 90's, with unaccountable fashion foresight, I actually bought a Look rain jacket with built in hood and all, and the same vibrant mondrian design. I eyed it hanging in the window of the lbs for months, until one day the price was reduced and I couldn't resist any longer. I still have it, and it's probably been used no more than a dozen times, and it's still in excellent condition.familyguy wrote:Always been partial to the La Vie Claire jerseys myself. The Prendas quality is good? It appears to be, but I've not actually possessed one.RonK wrote:My wife bought herself one from Prendas. Yes Jim, I've been a Prendas customer for quite few years - most of the goods are well-known and respected brands anyway, but even the house-branded items such as socks and under clothes are good quality. Service and prices are also very good, and it's not at all unusual to receive a hand-written thank you note or a small gift item with orders.familyguy wrote:The Prendas quality is good? My collection of Retro jersey's, some you would recognise & some you wouldn't.
Quite a few are from Swedish & Norwegian Cycling clubs, one there from the 1998 UCI World Masters Championships, others are very well known Pro or Continental Teams.

One of these is on the way - not exactly classic, but very retro...
