Personally I sold a mountain of stuff and bought a new mountain of stuff including an unmolested 1939 Malvern Star 3 star, a couple of pre WW11 (my collecting niche) race frames, a Brooks 'hairpin' saddle in excellent condition for my turn of the century roadster and a mitt full of smaller goodies.
I think my day was representative of the others who were there: Brilliant.

That 3 Star Malvern Star was indeed a great buy. Lots of potential with that beauty.

Disclaimer: I am a regular seller not an organiser of the event.Dimitrizee wrote:I have a fair bit of old MTB (late eighties) Deore / Deore XT stuff and things like Araya 27" wheels, road bike parts from around the same era etc..would that be okay to bring? Stuff that's too good to throw as I don't really need it. Just would like to know so I don't bring it then have to haul it all back home.
Anything bike related seems to be okay, and if you price it fairly it will sell. The more sellers the better the variety of bike "stuff"
You need to register with Abbotsford cycles via email and pay a $10 sellers fee on the day.

If it's half as good as previous meets it will be huge! Personally I have loads of goodies that need re-homing.
If you're keen to sell, drop me a line and I will reserve you a spot. Be quick though as places are filling fast.
Of course hordes of buyers are very welcome too. These swap meets have become a great social event and an tremendous opportunity to find vintage bikes and parts at
great (non eBay!) prices.
Cheers.
