Vintage, yesteryear and retro biking

Happy New Year to all the Benotto and cycling enthusiasts out there. Here is my newly built Benotto Modelo 3000. A long time project that has finally come thru. Although I hand restore hundreds of vintage decals including "Most Benotto Sets" , in this particular frame I used original "NOS" with the exeption of a few of mine such as "Aguila del Tachira" under the seat, oval decal "Modelo 3000" top tube and the one in the Chainstay. All NOS Campy Super record group set. Custom paint job with Signature quality finish. Cheers!

Amazing! How did you go with getting the Ralleye tyres to sit straight on the rims?

I didn't know they were a problem.

I have to race off to the mens room, be back shortly, but it's common knowledge that I love Benotto's, especially when they look as horny as that one.

All the ones I have mounted have never run perfectly true.

Your Benotto looks brand new!!! Great work. The decals are spectacular. Worthy of Moser as his ride in the TDF.

I believe the only thing that is not new is the bottom bracket and even then it is in NOS condition. I have been told it looks better than new, the painter did an amazing job, the clearcoat looks like glass. Cheers!
