Restoration build and require some bits (Galli circa 85)

Postby Mattfixed » Sat Jan 12, 2013 8:51 am

Hey all,

Posting this up in two areas under the advice of a gent I met this morning at West End.
Looking for the following bits for my restoration build of a bike from the 80's

I require the following Galli Components, brakes, levers, chainset, seatpost, pedals, rims (700c + 650c) I assume laced to a set of Galli hubs.
If anyone has any Galli parts for sale I'd be keen to have a look and get some photos to forward on to one of the original cyclists to confirm if they're the correct part.

Once I have some more details on the specifics, I'll post more, but for now just putting the feelers out.

Cheers

It's hard to know who is who on our group. Got more new for it later on.

Turns out I can't edit the First post... so I'll put the list here.

Brakes Levers – Galli Aerodynamic KL
Brakes - Galli Criterium (Front and rear)
Rear Derailleur – Galli Aerodynamic KL
Front Derailleur – Galli Pro (Slotted)
Crankset – Galli Pro / Galli Maillard Pedals + toeclips
Wheelset;
Front: Nisi Laser 26"/650c 32 hole with 32 spoke Galli Hub (Silver)
Rear: Galli Top Pro 700c 32 hole Grey anodised with "French Branded FT Titanium hubs"
Tyres; (TBC)
Rear: Clement Campionissimo
Front: Vittoria CX
Seatpost – Galli 3T Slotted posted
Steering – 3T Bars and stem
Headset – Galli Stronglight Headset (Black)

Now to track appropriate items down. I have a fairly comprehensive amount of it lines up, but the wheelsets will be the tough part, so if anyone has anything, please let me know.

Regards,
