Frailer5, Yes you have the option of turning up on the day and paying then. The cut off date for registration is on the Concourse rego forms downloadable from www.dhbc.org.au If you don't register before this date and get the forms to us, the likelihood of us letting you get in on the day itself will depend on the committee. Read the rules listed out on the forms. We need you to register before the due date so we have time to provide placards/displays for your bike etc. Thanks marc

I'm going to be in Sydney when this event takes place. I'd like to enter my track bike - it's a Keirin bike - lugged steel frame etc. However it's a 2005 model. This clearly wouldn't be vintage enough, would it? http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v654/hlc/eb37a86b.jpg

Hi HLC I don't think there are any problems entering your bike. Why don't you get the registration form in anyway (before the end date). U wont have to pay until the day of the event when you turn up. Besides it would be fun anyway. marc

Entry in the snail mail for my Keith Davis Pegasus, Marc. We'll do a Navajo dance for a fine day. Even if it's a modest kick-off event, should be some innocent fun and yakkin'

Really up to you. This will also depend on the judges from the panel. I assume if they feel that an entry is better suited to another category they will get in touch with you. For now put your bike/s in a category you feel fits. Will email judges to alert them to this. Good luck. marc

Heaps of fencing all along the velodrome. U can walk around with ur bike in the area anyway. It will be held in the green oval area, inside the track.

In excess of 35 concourse entries so far. About 7 swap meet sellers. Numbers still growing. Our special print run of 2013 Sydney Classic Bicycle Show T shirts appear very very popular. Order them on our Facebook page 'Sydney classic bicycle show'.

Be good if you could bring your Alcone along Andy, even if just to look at. We hope there will be three other Alcon/es there. Don't forget I still owe you $10 as well.

Thanks Marc. I just worked out the Cooks River Cycleway runs nearby, so might ditch the car at Homebush in the morning and ride through to Tempe - looking forward to it!

Giving this one last bump. We've got over 40 bikes entered in the concourse and more than 10 stalls in the swap meet. There'll be coffee, a BBQ and a Madison track race. Plus a big bunch of dags :
