Help identify this frame?

Postby fletch62 » Thu Mar 28, 2013 5:44 pm

I picked up this bike today and hope someone may be able to identify the frame. Going to be a long shot as it looks to have been repainted, so zero stickers and very little in the way of serial numbers.
Only number is on the under side of the down tube, 'GB891025'. It also has '735' stamped under the seatube lug and what looks to be '04' under the headtube lug.
Parts that are on it are Shimano Slr brake lever and thumb shifters, Shimano 105 brakes, rear derailleur, and hubs (6 speed cassette), Shimano Biopace cranks 170mm and rings but missing non-drive arm. ITM Liner 120 stem, Sakae CT bars and UKAI rims.
Overall it is quite light for a steel bike, my scales are dead, but at a guess, around 8kg as is.
Top tube is 575 c/c, seatube is about 605mm c/c and headtube is about 195mm.
Unfortunately its going to be too big for me with the reach as i was hoping to build a bike for the Beechworth Gran fondo L'Erocia ride.
Any ideas anyone?
