Don't jump to the wrong conclusions guys - sheepdog disclosed right at the start that he put it on gumtree to link to the photos. im_no_pro deleted his link to the gumtree ad as it would be in breach of forum rules. If you look at the url of pics both im_no_pro & I linked to you will see it is this gumtree ad.

Sheepdogg also said the price was set too high so people wouldn't buy it.

I can understand your cynicism, but so far he looks to be newby rather than shonky

I put it on gumtree in order to post photos in which the moderator helped me. Quick advert for stupid money. Will be tossing frame.

Not a total loss! Keep the forks, headset and that pump clamp fitting on the seat tube and flog them on e-bay! It will get you some cash for the effort.
It was worth a try cos it had been a very nice frame before someone cruelled the down tube.
Cheers

Facebook is the best way to host pics for forums.

And for $400 Negotiable that's rich for a set of forks and a headset!

Chop the bent tube and replace it with a segment of bamboo... then advertise it for even higher price as a Bamboo Ken Evans =D
