A Raliegh Ladys Sport tourer:
First purchase :
Everything is there and works except for cables & such. No real rust. the guards are in pretty ratty condition so I need to find another set. The Sturmey Archer still selects but needs a major service.
The Missus wants to paint it pink & put flowers on it
Its now apart in the shed, more pics to come.
So, this is my current project......

Wow, that would be great with a good clean and polish. Please don't paint it pink!

Yeah, the jury is out on that one. I actually wanted to go back to the original colour and artwork. Once I work out what year it is I will discuss it better with her.
I di have a leather saddle and saddlebag planned for it though and some retro lights that are availiable (battery operated though not to clutter it up with generators & such).
It is going to come up pretty well with little effort, that is for sure.

Not sure the guards really need replacing and i dont think you would get a 2nd hand set in a condition as good as those. Sand them back give them a shine and re-paint them they will look the goods.
Do you know what year the bike is?
Will look great when you clean it up... Im on the NO pink band wagon

I have to ride early in the morning, before my brain figures out what I'm doing...
