looking for some help with a Ladies Speedwell Roadster

Postby Plus5Defense » Tue Sep 03, 2013 1:03 pm

Hi guys and gals,

I'm looking for information and help regarding a bicycle I found in a friends backyard (as attached)

So far I've learned it's a ladies Speedwell Roadster which is great because my Girlfriend is looking for a vintage bicycle and so I would like to get it in working order for her.

The frame itself is in amazing condition but the wheels and accessories gave into the elements and/or age and so now I'm looking for parts. they don't have to be vintage parts as I'm just trying to get it working again.

What information should I be looking for and giving off the bike? serial numbers, measurements etc?

can anyone recommend a website for parts?

Thanks for any help you might have.

bit hard to tell from the one photo I saw , frame number and wheel size? doesnt look like it needs more than servicing. Give it a good clean and oil, replace the tyres and off you go
Ozpushies! for ALL Australian made bikes.
