Malvern star hubs/wheels

Postby zero » Mon Mar 03, 2014 8:16 pm

I've got a postwar malvern star frame with track ends, looking to understand the measurements as I collect bits to make it ridable.

its got ~115mm spacing at the rear. You'd expect that a 120mm hub would be fine in that ?
its got ~90mm spacing on the fork, which kinda suprises me - not having dealt with a steel fork in 20 years myself, I'd have thought it would be a little wider ?

and I'd presume late 40s, early 50s malvern star would use 27in rims ?
