600km later.. On the Viscount

Yes the viscount and I have recently cracked 600km All was going well until I thought id finally try to set the front wheel properly. It has been a little to the right making it slightly uncomfortable to ride without hanging on to the bars.
So taking the wheel off, giving it a clean and putting it back on I couldn't center it correctly without the front spokes hitting the forks :S:S Many hours later I give up. Returning relaxed the this morning I pick up the wheel between my fingers and spin it along the ground only for it to shoot of out of my hands and into the door.
It appears, for the last 600km's and numerous 80km/h descents, my cartridge bearing hub has been permanently attached to the axle that runs through it
My bike had a funny setup of two 15mm holding screws on each side of the axle securing the wheel in place. It seems for how ever long and as best as I can tell, the front axle has been rolling around in the front drop outs with the highly tensioned set of securing nuts holding the wheel to the bike. The 2nd screw stopped the unscrewing motion caused by the axle that didn't actually spin.
Sadly, I cant work out to replace these sealed cartridges so its a trip to the bike store for me. Finges crossed the viscount front hub didn't and doesn't take a cartridge that is measures in furlongs.
Just think how much faster I can go with a front wheel thats spins
God I love that bike.
