Not the $80 Brooks bartape (nice though it is)...the stitched-on kind that Bianchi used to offer.Does anyone know where to get them, preferably in OZ or GB?
Or possibly a pattern to make my own..?
I'm waiting on an email from Velo-Orange re postage costs, which I expect will be horrendous, but would prefer not to enrich USPS.

Velo-Orange will give you postage options, I ordered my brooks saddle from them and being impatient I paid more (still much cheaper than buying local) to get the package in 5 working days. So I would expect a reasonable postage price from them.

Apart from Velo-Orange I know of no one local, but someone else out there might?

Thanks mate. I'm still waiting for a reply, but as they have been on holidays the delay is understandable. It looks like V-O is the way to go...I like the thought of elkskin covers to match my Brooks.
Were you happy with Velo-Orange?

So far yes, but only ordered my saddle on Friday, so will have it early next week I suspect. But yeah so far very quick responses (given the time differance).

I bought most of the components for my Gerald Tate single speed rebuild from Velo Orange. Found their service excellent and postage costs quite reasonable.

For other surces of Brooks things and other touring parts I'd recommend:
www.wallbike.com - Brooks leather tape (nice) and Soma bar tape
www.peterwhitecycles.com
www.sjscycles.com

Cheers
