please help, with identifying my road bike frame and fork

Postby tolliscycles » Tue Feb 07, 2017 5:02 pm

Hello,fellow Cyclists,
I would please like some help,in identifying a road bike, that I bought recently.
It was supplied by Endeavour cycles.
It has Colombus drop-outs and Reynolds 531 tubing.
The bottom bracket is stamped SCWG 036 59.
It looks to be roughly from late 1980's,or early 90's.
I would really like to know the brand/make of the bike.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks,all.

Hello,
Thanks,for your reply's.
I've contacted the store and sent them some photos, but unfortunately,I didn't receive a reply.
I also joined Photobucket,in an effort to upload some pics, here.I uploaded the pictures, onto Photobucket, but then couldn't figure out just how to paste/copy the images,to this site,as I have no great knowledge of these things.

Hello,
Thanks,for trying to help.
I really don't know,just what to do.
I've tried and tried.
I don't know how to move, between photobucket and this site.
Do you bring up both,in separate windows, then close one and move to the other?
How do you establish a link, between the two sites?
I would love to post pics to this site, but my limited knowledge of computers makes it quite difficult.

Hello again,
Once I have highlighted the link address,in photobucket,
how do I then click on the image button in this site?
How do I move or keep a connection between the two sites?

Just copy the image link in photo bucket then right click in a reply box here and choose paste. Photobucket creates all the image code automatically, you don't need to press the image button'

Hello,
Thanks,for your reply.
How do I move from photobucket,to here?
Do I have to keep both windows open?
Or do I have to open both sites in same window?

Just keep both windows open so you can move between the two.

Is it located, underneath "subject"along where it says B / Quote List ........ and such?

That SCWG is a tantalising clue, isn't it? Possibly a club bike of some sort? I'm not going to be of any help, but it looks like a very nice frame in excellent condition. Good luck with your search.

According to Google, Endeavour GP bikes were made by Keith Davis of Canberra, who usually built under the Pegasus brand.
