Reposting pics of my KTM due to the Photobucket debacle.
Featuring different eras of Dura Ace.

Looks like a nice frame but I have no knowledge of the KTM brand. Is it an early to mid 80's frame? Nice photos by the way and I especially like the photos of the front fork crown as it looks slightly convex with a beautiful lustre.

Yes early 80’s. It has a Dura Ace EX decal. Made in Austria. Some history of KTM here https://www.ktm-bikes.at/en/inside-ktm/ktm-history.html
They sold 1 million bikes between 1964 and 1989. Surprising there aren’t more around.

I looked at the KTM website and was amazed at the size of the company. Selling a million of anything must be quite an achievement. I can't believe I haven't heard of the company or their bikes. As you say, you're surprised that there aren't more around.

Being Austrian you would expect that their bikes are really well built. Yours does look very nice and I suspect, looks fantastic up close. I do like your mix on Shimano with a little help from Suntour. I'm guessing a 60cm c to c seat tube frame.

One day I’ll replace the levers with Dura Ace.
Yes it’s 60 x 58.

Not usually impressed by old bikes but your KTM is quite lovely.
