Yeah I watched that on TV this morning as well, and couldn't help but wonder if he is a member here. He's not "LotsOfSteelBikes" is he?Clydesdale Scot wrote:I know of an even bigger collection.

On reading your comment, I also wondered whether the subject of the article was a member here and have spent a while wondering who it might be..Clydesdale Scot wrote:I know of an even bigger collection.

The article, while light on detail, does have something that would probably resonate with a lot of the members here :
I never had a bike as good as all my mates, so that probably stayed with me and as I've become an adult, and near retirement, I decided I'd like to have the bikes that I couldn't have when I was 14
Fairly sure there are lots of us here who identify with this. Would love to be able to just wander around this shed and have a nice relaxed look at all of these...

Re Munga's comment about Peter in Canberras collection, I don't know what the current numbers are but remember 15 years ago or so him having about 65 just in the house bike room.... What he has in storage elsewhere I don't know.
Steve's collection is good in number, variable in quality, and just what he is interested in, which is exactly how it should be...
