Hobart - 90s Giant road bike with 105/600 gear

Postby LG » Sun May 12, 2013 10:33 am

Item: Steel Giant road frame with threadless alloy fork built with a mix of shimano 105 & 600 gear
Price: $180
Postage Available: No
Details:I've had this on gumtree for a wee while, but thought I'd offer here at a lower price. It's a steel giant frame stickered WCR (Wembly Cycle Racing), the fork is alloy threadless. Has 8 speed 105 gears & brakes including integrated shifters, 600 cranks, a nice velocity deep V rear wheel, front rim is ambrosio, extra long BBB micro adjust seatpost (27.0mm). The chain is in good order, brake pads are fine and tyres have plenty of life in them. It's all been adjusted and is running fine. Would make a great training, pub or commuting bike. Size is 56cm c/c (one of the tubes could be 55.5cm, but could just be my measuring). Anyway, this is surplus to my requirements and is sitting unused at the moment. In anticipation of somebody asking, I'm not interested in stripping and parting this out, unless somebody is willing to take the frame & forks that is  .

Except for the day Idrcycles borrowed a bike from me to ride up Mt Wellington a while back, the weather has been typically beautiful here in Tassie (don't tell anyone though ).
