Hi all, I know i'm new here but am looking for a specific bike / bike frame.
I'm currently riding a 57cm Apollo Vitesse from the late 80s-early 90s. I bought it off the original owner and he couldn't remember exactly when he got it.
I love the bike but i've regretfully come to the conclusion that it's too small for me and I need to get a 60cm (maybe 59cm) frame.
I can send pics if you wanna see what it looks like but here's some of the details.
It's steel, braised, not lugged, which i prefer the look of. It has shaped forks as opposed to flat-top lugged.
And one feature i really love is the rear brake cable is threaded through the top tube.
Mine is black and has had the decals removed (by previous owner), though i think the Apollo logo appeared in purple or blue.
Another bike i'm interested in is the Peugeot Aubisque, from around the same time.
And if anyone can recommend, or has, anything similar, i'd love to hear about it.
I'd prefer a full bike but a frame would also be cool.
If anyone could help me out that would be awesome.
Thanks,
Jamie
PS, I got approval from mods despite being a new member

How about listing you location in the details on the left.
Pick up Perth, free: Peugeot Carbolite Road Bike, White, 60/58cm Bent Fork.

Yeah, i tried to get an Aubisque on ebay a couple of months back, not yours however. I was beaten in the final seconds though.
