WTB - Fairly decent road/get fit/commuting bike

Postby zen » Fri Jan 02, 2009 5:09 pm

Hi

I'm new and looking to get in to some road cycling for commuting and to get alot fitter. Since this is a new years resolution (and we all know how they go sometimes), does anyone have a decent beginners road bike for sale for a reasonable price? By reasonable, I mean a couple of hundred dollars and would like it to be rideable straight away - ie no work needed or a very small amount done if necessary.

I am in the Sydney NSW area and can meet people in the Sydney CBD (preferable) or South Eastean (Panania/Revesby/Bankstown) area's.

Thanks in advance!

Hi

I am willing to extend the area of sale (so not just cbd/south eastern burbs if possible) if that helps anyone wishing to sell their bike

Zen,

I have 2 road bikes currently for sale that may suit you - both are listed in the market place with pics and are within the $250 - $300 price range.

Cheers,

Matt

Seems I'm about the same height as you... 59cm seems a tall frame.

I'll be heading to Sydney tommorrow and again later this month - let me know if you're interested in looking at either bike.
