WTB - Fairly decent road/get fit/commuting bike

Hi

I'm new and looking to get in to some road cycling for commuting and to get alot fitter. Since this is a new years resolution (and we all know how they go sometimes), does anyone have a decent beginners road bike for sale for a reasonable price? By reasonable, I mean a couple of hundred dollars and would like it to be rideable straight away - ie no work needed or a very small amount done if necessary.

I am in the Sydney NSW area and can meet people in the Sydney CBD (preferable) or South Eastean (Panania/Revesby/Bankstown) area's.

thanks for that - how tall are you? Im going off the size chart on cellbikes website and i think i need a 59cm seat tube? Im 6ft

Seems I'm about the same height as you... 59cm seems a tall frame.

I'll be heading to Sydney tommorrow and again later this month - let me know if you're interested in looking at either bike.
