WTB - Melb, 8 Speed Shimano Sti brake/gear levers.

building up an old racing bike, need shiftes too suit durace 7400 (old school).

bear in mind that 7400 / 7401 / 7402 dura-ace rear derailleurs require dura-ace shifters.
regular shimano shifters pull too much cable, meaning crap shifting.
either change to a non dura-ace rear or wait for dura-ace shifters and be prepared to pay through the nose.
i've seen used sti 7402 shifters go for over USD$200 recently
(i'm currently running/rocking 7sp 7400 dt shifters with my 7402 rd. can't justify paying the same for 15 year old sti dura-ace as new 6600 sti ultegra)
