WTB-Brisbane Road Wheelset

aAfter my failed attempt at fitment of the Fulcrum 5's, I'm still chasing an upgraded wheelset for a road bike, suit 60kg rider.

Must be compatable with Shimano 9 speed cassette
Ideally, you've puchased a bike and have upgraded rims and have a reasonable set at home collecting dust. Not looking more than a couple of thousand ks on the rims.

I have mavic CXP22's on currently, which just don't suit the bike. I'd like something lighter and more responsive.

Budget $250 or near abouts. PM me or post up. I'll keep my eye on for sale threads as well.

have you looked into getting a 9 speed freehub body for the Fulcrum's?

or have you already sold these on to someone else?

i went into my lbs, and getting a new hub for the fulcrum was not recommended, as the campag and shimano wasn't guaranteed to work

quoted price was $200. Otherwise the fulcrums would DEFINTELY be on the bike

I have a set of Easton Vistas which are in the same range and weigh only 37 grams more.

Furthermore they are hand built by Easton, not machine built.

Brand new from a Cervelo S1

As the cxp's are super strong, but heavy at 2100g plus. Looking to upgrade to rims 1750g and below.

Thank you to those that have responded to me.

I don't mind if they have small number of ks on them, so long as they are in great nic, and they suit shimano 9 speed.
