Ooh ooh - can I be the first to ask about shipping to Liberia? Will be interesting to see if the auctions are going to work - good luck! Dan
I ride 25s on the basis that they divide more easily into 100 than 23s.

Welcome mate, but as Roger pointed out, you need to put a bid in champ, above the reserve, and above the last posted bid. Or you can post the 'buy it now' price and be done with it cheers jase

I am now going to sit on the fence, pretend to be bored, and wait until the last moment before begrudgingly putting in a higher bid.

roger, youve done all the hard work with the first opening bid too bad you cant use the bid sniper things on this forum, it'll be interesting to see how many last minute/last second posts there will be

As there is no autobid mechanism, it will be interesting to see how it pans out.

Jase, you could change the clock on your machine and end the auction early.....

are we going to have people bidding on things they don't want, purely because of the thrill of it? think its doomed for failure myself, but lets see.

I also think the forum should stick to straight sales, and leave auctions to the ebays of the world. If you want (maybe) the best possible price, ebay it. If you want to sell it easily/quickly and for a fair price, figure out what you want and put a fixed price on it. You can always invite offers. That way you also get the highest price a person is willing to pay, rather than the price the second highest bidder is prepared to pay, plus $1. Just my thoughts.

id have to agree with you both you boys, auctions should be left to ebay, and i think straight sales are the way to go. Guess this thread will be the guniea pig

$75 from me .... but why the $20 shipping? I've posted frames well packaged to Perth for a bit more than that. 4realz

Well, it's a little past 9 here in perth, just checking if anyone was confused and bidded before 9pm perth time.
Anyhoo, looks like spirito came in with a $75 at 6.47pm, im assuming thats eastern standard time and not perth time that im looking at.
So Spirito, pm'ing you know champ, if mods have any issues with how this auction went, let me know.
cheers jase.
