I would like to put together a bike for a mate who has been oggling my speedwell.



Happy for the paint to be rough, some rust is fine as long as the frame is serviceable. not interested in powder coats or resprays.
Complete bike or bare frame... either would be great.

I have one, no forks but I have the skidstar gt frame with no dents or cracks. ok paint and some rust but its a ripper

I also want to restore this thing but do you think its best getting it painted the original colour to keep its value or going another colour to my liking? If its all to hard I am willing to sell it for the right price. I know how hard it is to get these bikes, losing it will hurt me.
