)Got her about a year ago. Had been only run indoors on training rollers since 1st owner bought from Clarence St Cyclery. She told me she'd paid about $1600 in '98 dollars. I've since:
-ridden her a bit, not a lot of kms on; some work commutes.
-swapped pedals for NOS MKR japanese pedals.toes clips. I still have the original cleat-pedals, which I'll throw in.
-had a full service by Bernard at Stanmore Cycles. He freed up/lubed the STI shifters; a pretty involved exercise. Prior to that, lube was gunked from lack of use, I guess; wasn't holding large chainring. Now adjusted'shifting silky-smooth front and rear.
-meant to check sizing, (I'll amend tonight), but basically a 56 cm. (C-C). I'm 5'10" ish, med leg. This is a low kms./pampered bike.
Looking to get money back (just over $400 paid); and shall absorb the cost of the service+pedals. Advertising here for a couple of weeks before I go to fleabay. Am willing to dismantle/bubble wrap as necessary, and box. I'll use eGo couriers. Pretty cheap/reliable, especially if you can do a depot pickup your end. I'll drive it to Taren Point depot to keep cost down. Otherwise, for Sydney and environs, am near Hornsby for pickup. (Those are the original pedals in pics). Oh, you get the pump, rear LED light, under-seat tool kit, which was on it).
Asking $420.
