I am only selling this bike because I have gone totally "Fat" and imported a European built Ti fatbike (Sandman Hoggar Ti) ... can't justify owning 2 of them. This is a very versatile bike... run it as a trail bike (even add a suspension fork), snow or sand bike (Capable of running up to 4.8* tyres).
I personally imported all of the components to build this bike... saving you the hassle of import duties, GST and freight. For the same money I'm asking, you would get a base line Surly Pugsley in Australia, with no where near the high end running gear on this one and around 4 kg heavier. As a trail bike... this thing rips. Stand out from the crowd!
FRAME: 9:ZERO:7 Polished Aluminium 170mm Centred Rear
Named after the area code of Alaska, the 9:ZERO:7 170mm 1-1/8" head-tube frame is crafted out of 6061 aluminum and offers a host of features to optimize your fat tire experience. Starting with an elongated head-tube and longer chain-stays, the 9:ZERO:7 features six rack mounts, three water bottle mounts, fender mounts, and full cable housing.
A non-offset, 170mm centered frame features more tire clearance than the 9:ZERO:7 135mm offset frame. The symmetrical rear wheel design also stronger than an offset rear. The 170 makes building up a pair of summer wheels super easy.
