WTS[SYD]-653 Pearson w. Sachs NS, Campag

Beautiful Pearson 653 (custom) from the UK
size is a 57tt c-c 58-9st c-c
parts include Sachs New success hubs, RD, FD, Cassette, 8 Speed Brifters, Veloce brakes, Athena 27.2mm seatpost, ambrosio balance rims, 3ttt bars and stem, cinelli cork, specialized bottle holder.

The big issue i have with it is the stem is stuck in the fork.
*tried oiling it for a few days
*I tried banging from the underside with a rod (and now i need to bang in the bolt to fix the stembolt hole, pictured)

Maybe someone out there can get this out because i cant and it's just too low for me with the low stem height.

Might sell it in parts but i'd rather sell the whole lot for cheaper.

I read here a year or two ago that pouring boiling water into the stem just as you're about to belt it out works well. Can't confirm this as I haven't tried it myself yet.

Same goes for your bike Dan. If I'm in brizzy and I need I bike I would take that Europa off your hands, no second thoughts!

Hmm interesting info morini! Little demotivated to work on bikes at the moment due to some bike issues and financial issues but I would really want someone to take a hold of the bike and spin it til it spins no more.

To get this moving I will throw in my other 3ttt stem and bars combo Forma SL free of charge if someone just wants to cut the stem off and melt the aluminium inside the fork...

Did something similar without the makeshift tool... AND.... didn't budge a mm.

I had another bike with a frozen stem, i just sawed it off since was worth $10 bucks.
Friend oxy-ed it out by melting the remaining stem out of the fork

this one.... im very reluctant even though i have a same spare bar and stem combo.
