WTS [ADL] Eddy Merckx Strada Team Wienmann Colours

Though it pains me to do, I have way to many bikes. This is a 58cm Merckx Strada in Team wienmann colours. Bought on here a year or so ago. Looking to get what I paid -$500. Happy to ship at buyers expense.

Includes headset, and can also include velo orange square taper BB if wanted.

Stick it in the cupboard unless you need to sell it. I don't think its overpriced. Crazy market at the moment.

Cheers Dan, I thought that was quite a reasonable price too, considering what others were asking on ebay. I guess I'll hang on to it, maybe build it up one day. Then when I shrink from old age it might fit

There is a lot of vintage frames on ebay at the moment, and they are going relatively cheap at the moment.

It's weird though... I've seen some beautiful frames go for dirt cheap (or not at all). Then some really crappy ones go for more!

Yeah I know what you mean. I bought a Colnago Super piu last week for around AUD660, then the next day a Master piu sold for around AUD1100. Condition looked to be similar for both. Masters are more sought after than supers i suppose.

Merckx buyers are all looking for Corsa Extras and MXLs, and missing out on the bargains.

Nah all good - free bumps and a chuckle at the current state of affairs of the vintage bike market. I dont plan on selling it at a massive loss, so will just hang on to it if I cant find a buyer.

Anyone want to buy a repco superlite - $500? Comes with headset, stem and seatpost. These are included as they are frozen into the frame and cant be removed. BARGAIN!
