Very nice pair of Mavic X221 Rims laced to Deore LX Hubs with double butted spokes.
This wheelset is a few years old now but has seen very little use so is in excellent condition for its age. It would have been close to top of the tree in its day.
This is purely a rim brake wheelset – no disc mounts on the hubs and rims are V-brake specific, so would suit someone building an older MTB or would be great on a touring MTB.
Rims – MAVIC X221 Rims, rim brake specific, 32 hole, single eyelets. Made in France. Very little wear on braking surface, lots of life left in these rims.
Hubs – Matching pair Shimano Deore LX M-570 non disc hubs. In excellent condition, spin nicely. I will service/repack the hubs before buyer collects. 8/9/10spd freewheel. Please note- do not come with QR skewers.
Spokes – Black double-butted spokes (not sure of brand).
Wheels run true, excellent braking surface, no damage dents etc. Overall excellent condition for their age.
