MEL: mixte frameset with lots of extras

Postby fooch » Sun May 19, 2013 10:13 am

$175 for the frame, forks, headset, stem, bars, seat, post, bb, 165mm cranks, f+r brakes (no pads) and mudguards ONLY. All in good working order, although paint has a few chips and scratches commensurate with its age.

No wheels, tires, tubes, pedals, brake pads, drivetrain, shifter, levers, grips, bell or cables.

Pickup from Kew in Melbourne.

It came with 27" wheels, but as you can see from the image, the brakes reach 700c rims that are in the frame.

Bump. Any interest? Too expensive? Should be hard rubbish?

Willing to split for the brakes? I only really need the long straddle cable for the rear centre pull for my missus bike.

Cheers,

Sorry Lloyd, not keen to split at this point. You could get one of those cables at CERES for free, or else I'm sure Abottsford Cycles will have them.

sorry for the thread resus.. but what's this CERES you're referring to? something Melbourne specific? Quick Google just now didn't reveal anything obvious to me. I shall likely be soon looking for some replacement Weinemann straddle cables myself.

Since I keep misplacing my common sense down the shed, I guess I'll have to borrow someone elses off the internet.

Ah.. sorry, found it; CERES. 30 seconds more spent on Guggle ;)

As you were, Gentlemen.
