Members classifieds for selling bicycles / parts. PRIVATE OFFERS ONLY
The bike is in mint condition, that is why I have listed it as New.
The bike has been ridden for less than 100 KMS.
The bike was only used recreationally and not for racing.
The bike will come with all lifetime warranty on the frame and 12 months unlimited service from the Bike Store where it was purchased 3 months back.
There are no scratches or any marks of wear, even the chain is shiny new.
Serious Buyers Only.
from the Cervelo website
"Every Cervélo frame comes with a limited lifetime warranty for the original owner"
How will you transfer this limited lifetime warranty to the purchaser?
If you want serious buyers only how about you become a serious seller and post a real pic of the bike instead of a photochopped one you pinched off ebay that doesn't even represent the bike in your description.
Also maybe replying to Dr_Mutley question about warranty.
Looks sus to me. Buyer beware!
He did reply to a PM about warranty, saying if u needed warranty it he would need to be contacted before taking it back to the shop where it was purchased. As someone rightfully pointed out though, the lifetime warranty only applies to the ORIGINAL owner... So I'm not sure why he's trying to sell it with warranty,..
Apologies if things aren't clear from my AD, I'am not good with these things.
As mentioned in the AD, if you're a serious buyer please PM me, I can even organize a demo ride if genuinely interested.
Can you please clarify publically how you are offering warranty on the bike when Cervelo clearly states the warranty is only available for the FIRST owner, and is not transferable. I was confused by your PM on the subject and hence lost interest. It seems to also be a point of interest for other buyers. It would be easier just to do this in the thread, rather than cloak n dagger PMs.
Seems like everyone is interested in breaking and replacing the frame no question about the bike.
Ah yes we don't care what state the bike is in as long as there is lifetime warranty on the frame.
Dr_Mutley, I will give you details of my bike shop and you can probably get him to answer the lifetime warranty question, but again no time wasters as they like me there
To be honest I'd rather sell the bike to someone locally, no oofence its just too much hassle.
I'd rather meet the buyer face to face, ensure both parties are confident of the sale
I cannot update my OP, but now selling to local buyers only, and only genuine buyers.
Please don't post in this thread if you're not in the market for this kind of bike.
I know we all are keyboard friendly and would love to converse on a CERVELO.
Seems to me your simple "bumps" aren't working.
Maybe you should consider giving any potential buyer a full component list, even a real photo of the bike?
You're asking top dollar - more info might be required...not just that the chain is shiny new....
Pics? Description of the bike? What is it u are actually selling? Does it have wheels? Or bars? Is it Di2? Are u sure? All I see is a pic of a bike with a mechanical group set.... U speak of wanting a serious buyer who won't waste your time.... U probably need to pay them the courtesy of outlining what your selling, with a picture of what your selling... But then again, maybe your not serious about selling it?
im interested but only if the chain is really really ( and i mean really) shiny...
any chance you can upload a pic of the actual 'new' bike that has already been ridden and has a transferable lifetime warranty?
8 weeks and 9 bumps since the original post - with no further info from the seller about this bike. The longer this goes on, the more suss it appears...
maybe the Mods should remove/lock this thread?
