Postby lloyd83 » Fri Oct 11, 2013 10:34 pm

Item: Mavic Aksium Race wheelset
Price: $199 NEGOTIABLE
Postage Available: Yes, circa $25 to most cities
Details:
- Excellent condition, barely any wear on brake tracks as shown in pics
- Shimano freehub
- includes FREE Conti Grand Prix tyres& tubes fitted with plenty of tread as shown in pics

Like my other posting, these wheels were from a donor bike so have hardly been used. The wheelset is priced to go, so make an offer, otherwise it's free to the masses on the fleebay.

Just out of curiosity, any particular tricks to posting wheels interstate? Is it just a case of finding a box big enough, a bit of padding and down to the local post office?

Yeah, grab a wheel box from your local bike shop before they throw out their recycling, package securely then down to the post.

Aus Post will charge the cubic weight of the box as iy is more expensive than actual weight though.

Here's a method to cut back the box so it's not rectangular in shape to get a cheaper rate.
