It will work.
I've got an earo seatpost (Look 595) and it fits but you need to the remove the rear piece (silver bit), flip it around, reattach and you can hook around your seatpost pretty securely - it will give you an extra few cms (Hard to explain but you'll know once you see it). You just won't be able to latch it the way they've originally designed but its pretty secure and I've been using it for the last 3 months and over 3000kms and its not going anywhere. The rear ones are great.
