[BRIS] Sorenson Frameset w/ seatpost and headset 59cm

Postby vaeske » Wed Jun 04, 2014 3:53 pm

I've decided to sell this QLD built Sorenson frame set as it's too big for me. Dimensions below. It looks to be Reynolds 531c but unconfirmed, It takes 27.2 post, has reynolds tips, TT vertical dropout, straight forks and internal cable routing, the frame is fine, but there are plenty of paint chips that goes with the age of this frame. I bought it off a guy who used it as a commuter.

Dimensions are:
55 c-c TT
59 c-c ST

In Ashgrove QLD, but happy for people to inspect and also to post it Australia wide.

$300 + shipping.

Okie dokie, so after speaking to a few people that dealt with the frame builder in the 90s. I've confirmed the following: Builder started building in the early 90s and my frame is most likely built between early 93 and around mid 94. The tubing looks oversized and could very well be either Reynolds 731 OS or Columbus EL OS. I was told that the builder John (Soren) preferred Reynolds tubing more and my measurements of top, down, seat and head tubes confirm that it's very likely its Reynolds 731 OS, especially with the Reynolds tips. The person I spoke to had the first straight forks built by John in late 92 as an experiment and John also started to paint his bikes with "Made in Australia" from "Made in Queensland" by the time he started to build frames for the AIS in 94. Awesome.
