WTB or T: (Adelaide) 80's brake assembly

Postby brauluver » Sun Sep 21, 2008 12:12 pm

Howdy all,

I'm 85% of the way through my Kerbside special (S/S) cruiser build.
Basic 80's style good ol' steel frame built locally.

Due to the condition of the original brake assembly I had to turf it.

What I'm after is a complete brake assembly from lever to calipers(front or rear, not fussed) that I'm sure some one who scavenges bikes and parts would have laying around the shed.

I am an All grain brewer and would be willing to swap a sixer of my brews for the parts instead of cash.
Please note that these beers are real ales with flavour, not like that watery megaswill most people are used to.One of them is an English bitter that placed 3rd in last weekends state Amateur brew comp.

Cheers Dave.

P.S this bike is a personal build and not something that will turn up on Ebay.

no brake....sorry, but you're making me thirsty! got a USB card reader to upload some pictures today. now to make it all work. have you considered a coaster brake? really cleans up the lines of a minimal build.
