Avanti Hurricane Comp series MTB
Note: The picture makes the top tube look sloping, its not. Its a horizontal top tube.
c.1998 model Hurricane, one of Avanti's Competition MTB series bicycles ("mid school"?!)
54cm seat tube/60cm top tube (centre to centre)
21 speed - 7 back/3 front
6005 aluminium frame, CrMo forks - rattle can repainted and clearcoated 3 months ago, not ridden since, just rebuilt and re-stickered
Shimano Acera X components - running smoothly
New Tektro v-brake arms
New cables throughout
Araya 26 x 1.50 alloy rims - front straight and true, back has a slight tug under light braking at one point on the surface that I cant figure out
Shimano hubs - repacked recently and run smoothly
S/S spokes - originals
New Velo contour grips
Kenda 26 x 2.125 knobbies to get it rolling - not top quality but they work
Double sided VP pedals - SPD/flat
Kalloy 27.2 seat post
Velo saddle thats seen some butt time

I gotta own up and point out that there's a couple of imperfect sections in the paint (see last two pictures).
