I need to put a half link in to shorten it a touch because if I pull a full link out, i can't get my street wheels with 18t rear on!

Alternatively, i'm most likely just going to get a bigger chainring, and 49/14 is just slightly too short on the track.

No its a different one foo. The pair from you are going on the retro TT bike. This one was given to me by a guy on another forum - for free! The aluminium is coming away from the carbon at the point where the rim joins ..its okay if I don't put too much pressure in the tyre.

Surly Steamroller running fixed 47x18 (69gi). Nothing flash, but a steel horizontal top tube beauty i think.

Kitted out as general purpose town / shopping / commute bike, soon to hopefully add light touring to its CV with a 180klm run down the coast coming up.

Mostly function winning out over form, with some very inelegant solutions to a host of practical requirements (mostly sourced in the plumbing section of Bunnings... tape, clamps, strap iron and bolts)

jaseyjase sleek looking scoot - I would get a half link and get rid of the chain tensioner - the bike will look a lot cleaner....

Hi,

I am pretty sure it is a McCaig frame. Do you still have this frame?
If so, please contact me on [email protected]
