Gearing is 46/16 with a Gusset SS conversion in a Shimano RS20 wheetset.mI'm not going to put bar tape on as I like the chrome clean look on the bars.

Tastefully done. You might change your mind on the bar tape in the first wet ride you do though.brasstinman wrote:Here is my Raleigh I turned into a single speed, 2nd week commuting and love being back on an SS.

Hey Mate they are Tektro TL720 levers. Yeah I think they look quite nice and work well.Mulger bill wrote:That's nice

The RX5.0 look pretty slick too although I think the TL720 have a little more style...

The RX 5.0 and its ally mates were the suspects I was thinking of, do absolutely nothing for me. Those TL720s have me considering a bullhorn conversion on the Reid Harrier now. Should be no problem with the SRAM Rival brakeset...

I've got them matched to a pair of high end Tektro dual pivots and the braking is sensational really pleased with it.
I picked mine up for $35 but no doubt if you looked hard enough there are probably better prices to be had online...

Good point Dan! I did try cleaning it off, but it seems PRO cork bar tape is not that easy to keep clean.Dan wrote:I'd be more concerned about the grease stain on the bartape.
