Re: Post your Fixie picciesWhat he said in the other thread. Get some sunlit shots of this baby! Looks promising!

Re: Post your Fixie picciesAgreed. That machine deserves some good, clean photography
Looks tasty though, very tasty
Re: Post your Fixie picciesyep. Rad.
There is an old (60+) bloke over here I see smashing around on the matching road frame with C-rec/shamals. Never has a helmet on!
Re: Post your Fixie piccies![]() Graecross courier frame, two rattle cans and sixty five bucks worth of cyclingdeal wheels.
Re: Post your Fixie picciesRad times ten Droobs.
Re: Post your Fixie piccies
Its nasty and my rushed paint has more runs than The Don but the frame is native 700c so easier to work with than my original ghetto fixie. Its not quite as much fun as making suicide hubs out of 27" wheels but tyres were too hard to come by.
Re: Post your Fixie picciesHere are some updated ones of my Larry:
![]() Switched to Tektro brake levers, running single speed while my knee heals ![]() Picked up a cheap pair of Rival cranks too, and fitted some SKS guards: ![]() Overall im really happy with it. Only niggling thing atm is the cheap crap Shimano freewheel which is dying badly. Will have to replace it, but i can't complain as it came with the wheels for $40 and the wheels are really quite nice.
Re: Post your Fixie piccies^ that looks like fun, diggin the white too
Re: Post your Fixie piccies

Re: Post your Fixie picciesThanks sil3nt,have read FAQ but was under the impression I could just attach the photo hence the name of the thread.
Re: Post your Fixie piccies
My suggestion is to use a image hosting service to upload them and use the URL tags to enclose the image links swapping the { with a [ in this example : {img}http://blahmadeupimagehostingcompany/pic1.jpg{/img} Rides : Merida Reacto 907E & The SS Larry
Re: Post your Fixie piccieshi all just built Reynolds usa frame gold finger brake venzo pedals and crank cast alloy wheels with sealed bearings from tiawan 9.6 kg

I think your ninja is actually lighter - 9.6kg??? Mein Gott. May I ask why? I mean, I sort of get the whole carefree/simplicity/at-one-with-the-machine thing, but where's the fun in lugging around close to 10kg with only one gear? Quads of steel.
Re: Post your Fixie picciesI would say those wheels would not be helpful in this circumstance

Re: Post your Fixie picciesAre those things cast alloy? I thought they were plastic. Worse than I had thought.
Re: Post your Fixie picciesThink they are somewhere in the realm of 1.3kg each if they are the same as the ones on Cycling deal.

Try it and see. If nothing else, they WILL make a better spinner of you. ...whatever the road rules, self-preservation is the absolute priority for a cyclist when mixing it with motorised traffic.

Re: Post your Fixie picciesNo thanks. My single wheels are 1.5kgs for the set. Thats plenty.
I get they kind of look cool. And they would be stiff. And strong. Beyond that? better hope you arent doing big kms or hills. It just wouldnt be fun to ride, surely? Merida Reacto 907 TWE wheels, Merida HFS 1000D, Merida Cyclocross CX4 Disc, Custom HongFu 29, Norco Diamond, Chariot CX1+CX2
