I think you will find the Forum FAQ might be helpful :)

Can I post images?
Yes, images can be shown in your posts. If the administrator has allowed attachments, you may be able to upload the image to the board. Otherwise, you must link to an image stored on a publicly accessible web server, e.g. http://www.example.com/my-picture.gif. You cannot link to pictures stored on your own PC (unless it is a publicly accessible server) nor images stored behind authentication mechanisms, e.g. hotmail or yahoo mailboxes, password protected sites, etc. To display the image use the BBCode [img] tag.

My suggestion is to use a image hosting service to upload them and use the URL tags to enclose the image links swapping the { with a [ in this example : {img}http://blahmadeupimagehostingcompany/pic1.jpg{/img}

I think your ninja is actually lighter - 9.6kg???
Mein Gott. May I ask why? I mean, I sort of get the whole carefree/simplicity/at-one-with-the-machine thing, but where's the fun in lugging around close to 10kg with only one gear?

Quads of steel.

I would say those wheels would not be helpful in this circumstance ;)

Are those things cast alloy? I thought they were plastic. Worse than I had thought.

Think they are somewhere in the realm of 1.3kg each if they are the same as the ones on Cycling deal.

Try it and see. If nothing else, they WILL make a better spinner of you. :)

No thanks. My single wheels are 1.5kgs for the set. Thats plenty.

I get they kind of look cool. And they would be stiff. And strong. Beyond that? better hope you arent doing big kms or hills. It just wouldnt be fun to ride, surely?

My quando/stars cheap vee wheelset is the better part of 2.5kgs, but I do better times on my local climb with those on my singlespeed than the 1500g RS80 C24s on my carbon Oppy. Maybe on steep hills or frequent accelerations out of slow corners there would be a difference but on more consistent efforts it feels like the weight helps.

If it's a 0 deg rise stem - just mount the bars upside down.

That aside - it's always good to see a 'real man' sized frame, Jim ;) None of this "Pixie Fixie" sub 60cm bum fluff.

Spend the weekend down in Margaret River. My GF & I took our bikes. I took some photos.

Also stopped at Collie Velodrome for a couple of sneaky laps. First time the missus has been on a track.

Did some single track. Bit sketchy on 23mm tyres/carbon clinchers/brakeless. Certainly went down a few hills quicker than I would of liked, and had to walk back up from wheelspin lol 75gi's too much power.

Excuse the pink tyre. Only spare I had in the shed. I considered colouring it with a sharpie.

Hey HLC great pics mate. I went down to Margs a couple of weekends ago but I took my roadie.

Hopefully I will have pics of my Single Speed up by the end of the month given I just need to build some damn wheels now.

FamilyGuy nice ride mate.
