Strip it, paint it, get some reasonable quality wheels like the ones from velo gear/or wiggle etc.., not the shite ones (Stars Wheelset). If you are gonna retain the chop'n'flop b/horns then get some real TT levers, or go for drops.
Ride it and smile
Oh and don't fit one of those bloody horrible looking(read tacky) red powdercoated chains.

If the paint is ok, why not keep the repco heritage.....

Thanks.. I'm not a fan of the tt leavers.. And I may just leave the paint the way it is as the colour is growing on me:) but I deffinatley need some new wheels and a racing seat.. Any exact recomendations on this would be appreciated:) and not to expensive ones either..

Ahm..... those wheels of mine above are a Stars wheelset won rather cheaply on ebay from Cycling Deal. I have given them a bit of 'preventative maintenance' and they are holding up ok, but I don't expect them to 'last forever' or be 'bombproof'. In fact I've recently noticed the rear axle distorting a bit from overzealous nut-tightening.....brauluver wrote:get some reasonable quality wheels like the ones from velo gear/or wiggle etc.., not the shite ones (Stars Wheelset). If you are gonna retain the chop'n'flop b/horns then get some real TT levers, or go for drops
Agree that the cheap, deep-dish white ones are overly heavy, but that's the nature of deep dish - check out the weight of B43's et al. Some of the wheels at velogear are pretty good

Just recieved a set of these myself.
They seem to represent good value and have favourable reports.
