I am by no means a cycling novice. But I am a fixie/SS n00b. Is this a good buy? I have an old steel frame in my shed with some classic Shimano parts. All I would need are some wheels, chain and cog and I am good to go. Wondering if this was a great bike, I'd buy this instead.

Thanks for the suggestion. I did a bit of searching. Being compared to a K-Mart bike doesn't make me want to spend $450 on one.
Back to the original idea of doing up the old steed!
